  14.      Well, I was chatting with another user online about the merits and limits of HyperCard (HC).  We were discussing the YAM (yet-another-minifinder) effect that had been created by HC, when my friend mentioned that opening applications from within HC was not seen by a certain program of his.  This other program (which shall remain nameless since I don't know it's name) records all application opens and is (I assume) capable of analyzing this log information somehow......

  16.      Golly (says I), we could do the same sorta thing with a HyperTalk open message handler...........   After a couple hours of work, this stack was born.
